Do Not Fret A Poem
Do Not Fret A Poem Do Not Fret Written in 2015 Do not fret my darling, My attention has been diverted. Shortly it will veer back toward you And then I shall not divide it. Do not fret my darling, I want to spend my time With you and only you. No audience to our conversation No others participating. Fretting will be forgotten, When our arms for the other, When our lips tentatively touch, And then get much more urgent. Fretting will be long forgotten By the time we end our embrace Much much later on And smiles will be upon us. And our skin will be glowing. We will have a lover's glowingness. Something should be patented But no can own it. It may be considered borrowed But not returned with haste No it should be kept as long as humanly possible. No fretting necessary.
